Classic and contemporary live side by side at Hotel Lutetia, an enduring Parisian landmark on the city's Left Bank.
Dating back to 1910, Hotel Lutetia is a distinctive piece of Parisian history. This grand hotel has long been a place where the anonymous could be found alongside the famous. From James Joyce (who wrote "Ulysses" at the hotel with Ernest Hemingway acting as occasional editor), to Picasso, Matisse and David Lynch, numerous culturally significant figures have lived, worked and entertained at the Lutetia.
Following four years of renovation, the Hotel Lutetia is back with a modern facelift, including bright public spaces, a courtyard, spa and eclectic mix of restaurants and bars. The popular Lutetia Brasserie has returned under the supervision of three Michelin starred chef Gerald Passedat, while a shiny new wellness area boasts a sparkling swimming pool bathed in natural light, a hammam, bespoke treatment rooms and a state-of-the-art fitness area.
The hotel's legendary spirit lives on in the 184 guest rooms and suites. Elegant and contemporary, these spaces look out onto either Boulevard Raspail and Rue de Sèvres or the interior courtyard.
