Once the home of Francis Ford Coppola, Jardin Escondido invites guests to sample boutique Argentinian living in the trendy Palermo Soho neighbourhood of Buenos Aires.
When Ford Coppola spent two years living in Buenos Aires, the leafy surrounds of Palermo Soho proved irresistible. The neighborhood forms the heart of the city's shopping district, with shopping, restaurants and bars all close at hand.
A truly boutique experience awaits guests upon their arrival at this former residence. Just seven suites can be found within, each uniquely decorated and named after a member of the Coppola clan. Of particular note is the "Francis" Suite, an accommodation Ford Coppola called home for the two years he lived in Buenos Aires between 2007 and 2009. This suite boasts a King bed, private balcony that overlooks the garden, and a desk that's perfect for writing.
Despite its small footprint, Jardin Escondido features three levels, each with gardens. The main level is centred around a small swimming pool, while an outdoor kitchen and barbecue area is also available for guests. As one would expect, a wide variety of Coppola's works are available from the hotel's video library.
